Write a limerick that illustrates your type preferences. Well, okay. let's not limit it to just limericks. It can be any form of poetry, okay? Couplets, Haikus, freestyle, whatever. No rules. And Richard Wade and myself will be the judges. It will be fairly easy to judge if this follows the pattern of only one submission, as in the first MindBlink contest. :-)
Here's one by me to start it off. I know you can do better! ;-)
ENTP
There once was a blogger named Linda
Who thought many thoughts...um...kinda
She wrote many tales
with not enough details
They scratched their heads and said, "Duh?"
Yeah... I know. It should end with "Huh?" But that doesn't rhyme with Linda. Come to think of it, duh doesn't either, does it? Oh well. You get the idea, right?
You have two to three weeks to respond. (We'll see.) Last time, someone emailed me right after it was over. I want everyone who's interested to get a chance.
The prize for this contest will be a free Strong Interest Inventory with a one-hour consultation with moi! (It can be in person, over the phone, voice chat, or IM - although IM seems to require more time.) The only requirement would be that you have to write a short testimony for me about your experience. You can see a sample Strong profile here.
I'm almost done with my qualification course for the Strong. Let me tell you, I have enough stats lingo swirling in my head to drive me bonkers. It's totally out of my preference. Ugh! But I'm determined to learn it and get on with my vision of helping people find their own passions.
I will be qualified to administer the assessment by the end of the week, I hope.
The Strong can empower the respondent to discover their true interests so they can better identify, understand, and often expand their career options. In other words, the better we know ourselves, the more enriching we can make our lives. We can also incorporate the Strong with the MBTI to make it even more powerful as a tool to help us better understand ourselves.
